KATHMANDU, Feb 7: The Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) has unveiled its ambitious plan to add at least an airbus every year.
At a press conference in Kathmandu on Monday General Manager Sugat Ratna Kansakar said NAC plans to purchase at least one plane every year.
NAC to buy two widebody jets
He further shared the process to procure a wide body aircraft has been undertaken after signing an MoU with the US-based AAR Company.
The NAC has set its target to sign the widebody procurement contract by April 13. The price of the aircraft is around Rs. 10.9 billion. NAC also plans to expand its flights to new destinations such as Seoul, Sydney and Tokyo among others.
