The Wi-Fi service that started from May 14 would be rendered free of cost up to mid-June.
The free internet service was offered in the area bearing in mind the post-quake trouble in having communications at home and abroad and disseminating news and views, said MySet Foundation Chairperson Sirjan Shrestha.
"The free service was provided thinking that the quake survivors could also utilize the resources available with us at the moment of grief", said MySet representative Ranjit Saha.
With this the free W-Fi service could be used in Melamchi, Duwachaur, Talamarang and Chanaute, said Radio Melamchi's Station Manager Dev Raj Subedi. RSS
