KATHMANDU, Oct 9: Ruling NCP leader and incumbent lawmaker of Kathmandu-7, Ram Bir Manandhar has announced to step down from the member of the parliament.
Speaking at a press meet on Tuesday, Manandhar revealed that he has already submitted at the party secretariat. “I have already submitted my resignation at the party secretariat. Once the party approves my resignation, I will formally convey to the Speaker”, said Manandhar.
He added that his resignation will pave a way out for another NCP leader Bam Dev Gautam. He has stepped down from the post for the respect of leader Gautam.
He claimed that leader Gautam had a key role in party unification and will have an important role in the parliament which is important for the development of the country.
Asserting that development is the first and foremost priority for him, leader Manadhar said that Gautam will take the development activities into the next level.
