Musical concert heats up Nepalgunj

Nepalgunj, Aug 10: When Nima Rumba lit up the stage with his song ‘Aau aau na, ma sanga gaau na...’ the audience danced along with him. The audience seemingly couldn’t get enough of the singer, shouting ‘once more’ right after he performed ‘Priyasi’.



Tuborg’s ‘Let’s Get Loud’ concert kicked off on Saturday at Nepalgunj’s Rangashala where thousands of people gathered to enjoy performances from various artists. Nepalgunj reverberated with the music from 1974 AD, The Shadows, Nima Ruma, Robin Tamang, etc. [break]



Resident of Nepalgunj-5, Dhamboji Chowk, Gunjana Neupane was very excited to watch the concert and said that the performances of the bands really touched her.

A group of six, including female cricketers Neri Thapa and Mamta Thapa were present there to catch the bands perform. Mamta Thapa expressed her happiness at being able to watch a concert in her own district.



With Saturday being a holiday, most young people, students, government employees and businessmen had turned up in hordes at the concert ground despite the heat.

“To be able to watch performances of many artists at one stage here in Nepalgunj is an unforgettable moment for me,” exclaimed Bijay Thapa, a local youth.
