KANCHANPUR, Aug 20: Murder-after-rape-accused Dilip Singh Bista has landed in a police net on the 25th day of the incident on Monday.

Bista had been absconding after he allegedly murdered 13-year-old girl after rape at Bhimdatta Municipality-2, Ultakham, in Kanchanpur district.

Acting on a tip-off, a joint team from Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of Nepal Police, and Kanchanpur Police arrested Bista today. He has been produced at the Kanchanpur District Court. According to police, Bista has admitted to the crime.

Police said they are preparing to make him public after receiving a remand order from the court.  Bista had also served a jail-term and been released earlier.

The body of Panta, who was gruesomely murdered after rape on July 26, was found the following day. Postmortem report has corroborated the claim.
