KATHMANDU, August 11: Nepali Congress Joint-General Secretary and former Minister Mahendra Yadav has requested the President to certify the Citizenship Bill as it has been passed by both Houses of the federal parliament and has reached the President’s Office for verification.
He said that the Bill should be certified and implemented as it will solve the citizenship problems of the citizens of Terai and as well as other parts of the country.
On another note, MP Yadav said that the current five-party alliance was formed based on the needs of the Nepali people and made it clear that this alliance will continue even after the election.
He claimed that the current government has done in a short period of one year what the previous government could not do in three years.
