Motorcycle-hit claims pedestrian

PALPA, Dec 6: A pedestrian has been killed after being hit by a motorcycle at Damakada in Tansen Municipality-9 on Thursday.

PALPA, Dec 6: A pedestrian has been killed after being hit by a motorcycle at Damakada in Tansen Municipality-9 on Thursday.


The deceased has been identified as 47-year-old Tek Bhadur Khamcha of Baganash rural municipality.


Khamcha was hit by the motorcycle, Lu 4 Pa 9048, when it was heading to Banstari from Sarai.

Seriously injured Khamcha, who was rushed to Lumbini Medical College, died while undergoing treatment.


Police have taken the motorcyclist along with his motor-bike under control and are investigating the case, said DSP Binod Ghimire.
