DHANUSHA, July 29: A man attacked a mother and daughter with a sharp weapon on Monday night, leaving 14-year-old Anjali Yadav dead and her mother, 35-year-old Aasha Yadav, injured.
The victims, originally from Shantipur in Bateshwar Rural Municipality-5, were living in a rented house in Janakpurdham Sub-metropolitan City.

According to Inspector Anil Bitha at the District Police Office, Dhanusha, Aasha Yadav’s niece, Radha Yadav, who was also present during the attack, sustained injuries.
Injured Aasha and Radha are currently receiving treatment at the provincial hospital in Janakpur.
Police have identified the suspect and are investigating the case, officials said.
