KATHMANDU, Jan 2: The bodies of the two people who died in the Balkumari incident have been sent to their home districts.
Last Friday, Sujan Rawat of Dailekh and Birendra Shah of Achham died during the protest of individuals who could not fill the forms of the Employment Permit System (EPS) branch. On the fifth day after the death, after the relatives received the bodies of both, the bodies were sent to Dailekh and Achham via a Nepali Army helicopter.

On Tuesday, the bodies of Shah and Rawat were sent to Surkhet from Kathmandu via the sky truck. The army helicopter returned to Surkhet after handing over Rawat's body to his relatives in Dailekh. Birendra's body has been sent to Achham from Surkhet.
The arrival of the bodies in their hometowns drew a gathering of people from across the villages in both Dailekh and Achham.
