Morang, Sunsari border to shut for 48 hours

BIRATNAGAR, March 9:The Nepal-India border check points in Morang and Sunsari districts will be closed for 48 hours beginning at 6 pm today in view of March 11 Lok Sabha by-elections in Atariya of Bihar, India.

BIRATNAGAR, March 9:The Nepal-India border check points in Morang and Sunsari districts will be closed for 48 hours beginning at 6 pm today in view of March 11 Lok Sabha by-elections in Atariya of Bihar, India. 


All Sunsari and Morang check points bordering Atariya will be sealed off where movements of people and vehicle will be banned, said Chief District Officer, Morang Ram Prasad Acharya. The decision to this effect was taken, following an agreement between administration chiefs of bordering areas of both Nepal and India, he said.
