KATHMANDU, April 18: The District Administration Office (DAO), Morang, has imposed a ban on meetings, conferences, rallies, gatherings and demonstrations in the district.

Chief District Officer Pradeep Kumar Sah issued a notice on Thursday, informing the public about the prohibition of meetings, conferences, rallies, gatherings and demonstrations in the district until further notice.
After two groups clashed in Biratnagar Ward-15 and 17 on Wednesday, the DAO issued a notice and enforced a ban on gatherings and conferences.
