Monsoon active in four provinces

KATHMANDU, June 11: This year's monsoon system has entered four provinces of the country. According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, the monsoon system has entered Province 1, Madhesh, Bagmati and Gandaki.

KATHMANDU, June 11: This year's monsoon system has entered four provinces of the country. According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, the monsoon system has entered Province 1, Madhesh, Bagmati and Gandaki.

The monsoon system is expected to enter the rest of the country in a few days. This year's monsoon had entered the eastern part of Nepal before the average time. The average time of onset of monsoon in Nepal is around June 13.

The monsoon enters from the eastern part of the country and gradually extends to the west. The four-month period from June to September is called the monsoon period in the South Asia region. 

According to the weather forecast for today, the weather will be generally clear in the hilly areas of the country in the afternoon including Province 1, Madhesh, Bagmati and Gandaki. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning in a few places in Province 1, Madhesh, Bagmati and Gandaki and light rain with thunder and lightning in one or two places in the hilly areas of other provinces.
