MoHP reports 250 fresh cases of COVID-19, tally jumps to 4614

KATHMANDU, June 11: With 250 new cases of coronavirus today, Nepal's COVID-19 tally climbed to 4614, the Ministry Health and Population (MoHP) said.

KATHMANDU, June 11: With 250 new cases of coronavirus today, Nepal's COVID-19 tally climbed to 4614, the Ministry Health and Population (MoHP) said.


At a daily Facebook live update, Jageshwar Gautam, the spokesperson for the MoHP said that the 250 new cases of COVID-19 were detected during PCR tests conducted at various health labs in various parts of the country. "Of the infected in the past 24 hours, 230 are males and 20 are females," he said.

Out of total infected as of today, 4285 are males and 329 are females. Spokesperson Gautam said that the COVID-19 death toll has climbed to 15 as of today. Coronavirus infection has spread to 72 districts so far, according to Gautam. 


Likewise, 187 COVID-19 patients have been discharged after recovery in the past 24 hours.
