KATHMANDU, Oct 6:Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Home Affairs Bimalendra Nidhi has assured that the government would hold the elections of all three tiers within the scheduled time.
Addressing a special function organised today at the Nepal Police Headquarters on the occasion of its 61st establishment day, the Home Minister said to guarantee timely elections was the top priority of the government and it was working for the same accordingly.
He, praising the Nepal Police role in the advancement social security, in the delivery of social services and infrastructure development, suggested that the organisation should make more efforts to win people's hearts.
On the occasion, Inspector General of Nepal Police Upendra Kant Aryal said the organisation was doing its best to prove its effective presence in the changed scenario. RSS
