Minister Kirati said there are thousands of Jatras taking place in Nepal which should be elevated to a global platform. He urged the promotion of these Jatras as festivals and events with international significance.

Minister Kirati suggested that Nepali tourism should incorporate a local flavor while ensuring a sense of ownership by aligning with the essence of nature and culture.

He highlighted that the growing trend of undermining other cultures and traditions by exclusively promoting one's own culture as superior, is detrimental to the cultural fabric.
