KATHMANDU, May 26: Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Transport Prakash Jwala and the high-ranking officials of the World Bank made an onsite visit to the Nagdhunga tunnel road project this morning.
On the occasion, Minister Jwala took stock of the progress and status of the tunnel works.
Secretary at the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport, Keshav Kumar Sharma is also participating in the monitoring.
Of the 2.6 kilometers, 600 meters of the tunnel road remains to be constructed, and the construction works of the main tunnel are expected to complete by mid-October.
Likewise, the team is now visiting the ongoing expansion drive of the Nagdhunga-Mugling road section project.
