KATHMANDU, June 12: Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Prem Bahadur Ale today laid the foundation stone for an arrival terminal building at the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) (domestic sector) amid an event. 


A temporary building will be constructed in view of the increasing flow of passengers, said the TIA General Manager Prem Nath Thakur.

Being constructed by the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN), the project will cost Rs 50 million and is expected to be completed in one year. Bright Multi Construction has been awarded the contract to build a 41 meters long and 24 meters wide terminal building.
