Minimum wage fixed at Rs. 8,000

KATHMANDU, May 27: The Minimum Wage Fixation Committee on Monday fixed the minimum monthly wage of workers in the formal sector at Rs. 8,000. The newly fixed remuneration includes Rs. 5,100 as salary and Rs. 2,900 allowance.
