The group of 20 persons looted the properties from the house of Ganesh Mohan Sah of Gaushala Municipality-8, the victims said. Sah is also the owner of Uma Rice Mill.Sah said that the burglars entered into the house after collapsing a wall behind the house and stole 10 tola gold and silver, Rs 300,000 in cash and other properties. The gang also opened two rounds of fire inside the house.
Police said that the group looted the properties at the gun point after keeping Sah's three-year-old son Krish Kumar in hostage. Police Inspector Machchhindra Babu KC said investigations and a search for the involved in the incident have been initiated. RSS
