KATHMANDU, Jan 28: A person who just returned from abroad was arrested from the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) on Friday. Mukti Khanal, 39 of Rupa Rural Municipality-7 in Kaski district was arrested under the Electronic Transaction Act by the police, according to the Cyber Bureau.

Khanal is accused of befriending a woman on social media while working abroad to receive unclothed pictures and videos and later blackmailing her. According to Cyber Bureau Spokesperson Navind Aryal, Khanal is currently under investigation as per the Electronic Transaction Act, 2006.
