Metro train should start in Valley: LMC Mayor Maharjan

KATHMANDU, Dec 15: Chiri Babu Maharjan, mayor of Lalitpur Metropolitan City (LMC), has said that there is a need to run metro train service in the Kathmandu Valley.

At a program organized on the occasion of the 28th Metropolitan Day of Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) on Thursday, Mayor Maharjan clarified that they are ready to cooperate with the KMC to run the metro service in the valley.

Similarly, he said that he had built a cycle lane in LMC and proposed to connect that lane to Shivpuri hills via KMC.
