In men´s doubles, Kumar Adhikari and Jitendra Pariyar´s pair outplayed Raju Chhetri and Raju Shrestha´s pair 6-1, 6-1, Maheshwar Tiwari and Gagan Maharjan beat Sriram Magar and Pranjal Kayastha´s pair 2-6, 6-4, 1-0 to book semifinal spots. Likewise, Sriyans Karki and Hari Hayu teamed up against Binod Gautam and Rameshwar Thapa´s pair to register a 6-1, 6-2 victory, and Kamal Bhandari and Chandra Shahi´s pair saw off Santosh Khatri and Chhewang Lama´s pair 6-2, 6-3 to move into the last four.
In women´s singles,Mallika Rana, Kalpana Thapa, Aslesha Lissanevitch and Saloni Lama secured quarterfinal berths. Rana beat Anuska Malla 7-2, 7-2, Thapa outplayed Bimala Basyal 6-1, 6-1, Lissanevitch defeated Ganga Sharma 6-1, 6-3 and Lama edged past Punam Shrestha 6-1, 6-4.
In other matches held at the APF court, the pairs of Amrit Kansakar and Rajesh Bhakta Shrestha, Jhyamba Dhundup and Uttam Lama, Prithvi Thakali and Dinesh Tuladhar, Kamal Thapa and Suwarna Dhakhwa advanced into the quarterfinals winning their respective matches in men´s veterans´ above 45 years category.
Meanwhile, the pairs of Jeevan Ghimire and Karma Ghale, Krishna Ghale and Durja Kumar Rai, Arjun Karki and Premkumar Shahi joined them in the last eight after receiving byes.
In the above 35 years category of men´s singles , Durga Bahadur Kunwar, Sanu Lama, Rohit Sunuwar and Manoj Shah cruised into the quarterfinals. In the above 55 years category, Murari Bhakta Mathema, Gyanendra Tamrakar, Deepak Gurung and Indrajeet Rai secured semifinal berths.
In men´s doubles´ above 35 years category, the pairs of Rajesh Chhetri and Manoj Bikram Shah, Mahesh Shrestha and Digendra Shrestha, Raju Shrestha and Raju Rai, Madhav Thapa and Umesh Shah entered the quarterfinals. Thapa and Shrestha´s pair got a walkover.
