KATHMANDU, Aug 30: 58 members from the Nepali Army, Nepal Police, and Armed Police Force are out of contact after the Bhotekoshi flood.
According to the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority (NDRRMA), as of 9:00 AM on Sunday, 45 members of the Nepali Army, 13 members of the Armed Police Force and 27 members of the Nepal Police are unaccounted for. However, the Nepal Police have informed that 25 of their personnel are missing.

According to the NDRRMA, 734 bodies of people who died in the flood have been found. 2498 people, including 933 people working in hydropower projects, are missing. 242 people have been injured in the flood.
19,895 security personnel from the Nepali Army, Nepal Police and Armed Police Force have been mobilized for search, rescue, and relief. They have rescued 8186 people so far.
Similarly, 279 people from hydropower project tunnels and 227 foreign nationals from other affected areas have been aerially rescued by helicopters, says the NDRRMA.
