Started by Greejesh Prakash, Pavitra Gautam and Bharat Shrestha, members of US Embassy Youth Council 2014, the initiative works to fulfill small but important needs of students.
This is a platform designed to connect the needs of underprivileged students with different organizations who can step in.
At the time of the launch of this initiative, three needs had already been met in Kathmandu and Birgunj.
Pavitra pointed out that companies don’t require big Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) budgets to do good works.
While admitting that though fulfilling these small needs of students won’t solve the problems faced by the education sector of Nepal, he stated, “These actions can start ripples to create impact and change.”

Susan Parker-Burns, Public Affairs Officer at the US Embassy, remarked on the feasibility of this initiative, too.
She added, “It has low costs but it can have immediate effects and also makes a difference. This has incredible potential for the Non Resident Nepalis who want to give back to their country.”
The website for the initiative was also launched during the same event on March 20. The website lists schools or youth clubs who require assistance.
