KATHMANDU, Oct 29: A meeting between the visiting United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Defense, Purna Bahadur Khadka, is underway at Singha Durbar.
Prior to this, Defense Secretary Kiran Raj Sharma welcomed the UN Secretary-General to the ministry.

At Singha Durbar, the UN Secretary-General is scheduled to call on Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal, NC President Sher Bahadur Deuba and CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli.
Similarly, the UN Secretary-General is scheduled to pay a courtesy call on President Ramchandra Paudel later today.
He arrived in Kathmandu today on a four-day official trip to Nepal.
