THALAHA (JAJARKOT), July 19: Medicine stock has depleted in the temporary health camp set up in Thalaha village of diarrhea-hit Jajarkot district.

As of Saturday, there were only 30 bottles of saline, 15 bottles of Metro, 700 tablets of Metroninazole, and 300 tablets of Cirpo in the camp, according to Auxiliary Health Worker Narayan Prasad Pokharel of District Health Office, Jajarkot.

Pokharel said given the number of patients visiting the camp, the supply was likely to be used up on Saturday itself.

Some 140 patients visit the camp daily. Since the camp was set up 10 days ago, 1,273 patients visited the camp as of Saturday.

The camp was set up in Thalaha village as it is accessible to patients from 10 VDCs including Pajaru, Jhatra, Dasera, Suwanauli, and Karkigaon. The district headquarters Khalanga is three-day´s walk from Thalaha. A donkey was sent to Khalanga on Saturday to procure additional medical supplies.
