He said, “Today I urge all of you to go to the parliament building. Today the MCC project agreement is being tabled in parliament. After this, I would like to inform the people here that a conclusion will be reached after in-depth discussions in parliament and not on the streets.”

Spokesperson Karki said that the previous UML-led government had registered the MCC agreement in the House of Representatives and the same registered deal is being tabled in the House. He said, “The project is scheduled to be tabled today. All I want to say is that this MCC project was registered in parliament by the previous government led by KP Sharma Oli.”

“As the inseparable successor of the government, we bring it to the table today. After that, the UML, which is the main opposition party and which was in the government at that time, should give you the answer,” he further added.

The HoR meeting has been called for 1 PM today.
