KHOTANG, April 27: Machhapuchchhre Bank Limited has decided to open its branch office at Mahadevsthan of Halesi Tuwanchok Municipality - 7 in Khotang district.

Officials of the bank told Republica that they have started initial works in addition to marketing as part of preparation to open the bank. The bank aims to serve locals of Khotang as well as domestic and foreign tourists coming to the Halesi Mahadev temple are by providing them modern banking services.
The new branch will commence operation from May 5. Century Commercial Bank already has a branch office in Halesi. Similarly, Salapa Development Bank has also been providing banking services in the area.
