Mayor of Bhaktapur Sunil Prajapati has been awarded the Nagarik Nayak 2080 award

KATHMANDU, April 24: Mayor of Bhaktapur Municipality Sunil Prajapati has been honored with the Nagarik Nayak 2080 award.

On the occasion of its 15th anniversary, Nepal Republic Media honored Mayor Sunil Prajapati with Nagarik Nayak 2080 on Monday.

CPN-UML MP Raghuji Pant and Director of Nepal Republic Media Shova Gyawali jointly conferred the award to Mayor Prajapati. The mayor also presented an ‘Akhijhal’ as a gift to Gunaraj Luitel, editor-in-chief of Nagarik Daily, the facilitator of the event.

Prajapati has been able to show the whole country a beacon of hope in the fields of education, health and heritage. On his initiative, Bhaktapur Municipality has paved a different path of development.
