KATHMANDU, May 1: Chairman of CPN (Maoist Center) Pushpa Kamal Dahal has stated that the party unification between CPN-UML and CPN (Maoist Center) will be announced on May 5.

Addressing a joint program organized on the occasion of labor day, chair Dahal has stated both party chairs have planned to announce the party unification on May 5, coinciding the 200th birth anniversary of Karl Marx. 

He further added that all the disputed issues will be solved within one or two days. "The communist coalition has not a back gear, it's moving ahead" chair Dahal said. "

Dahal said, "People's aspiration for political stability, development, and prosperity needs to be fulfilled".  He was confident that development and construction would now gather momentum in the country.

"This is an opportunity to work as per the people's aspiration, and we need to realize the people's long-held aspiration for progress and prosperity," he said.
