KATHMANDU, March 19: CK Raut, the leader of the Alliance for Independent Madhes (AIM) who gave up his secessionist demand by signing an agreement with the government on March 8, has launched a new party named Janamat Party to join mainstream politics.

LAHAN, March 18: CK Raut -led Alliance for Independent Madhesh has decided to change the name and flag of the party. The ongoing meeting of the alliance has decided to rename the group name as Janamat Party, according to the assembly member of the alliance Sudeep Raj Kushwaha.
