Mathematics records highest number of 'non-graded' students in SEE this year

Mathematics recorded the highest number of non-graded students in Secondary Education Examination (SEE) this year, according to results published on Friday evening.

KATHMANDU, June 27: Mathematics recorded the highest number of non-graded students in Secondary Education Examination (SEE) this year, according to results published on Friday evening.



A total of 128,215 students failed to secure a grade in mathematics alone.

Speaking at a press conference, National Examination Board (NEB) Chairperson Dr Mahashram Sharma said that while the overall results have improved, the high number of non-graded students in mathematics remains a matter of concern.


He further shared that 80,672 students received no grade in English, 54,735 in Nepali, 53,186 in Social Studies, and 79,271 in Science and Technology.
