Campaign against air pollution (photo feature)

KATHMANDU, Jan 6: A rally was organized in the capital against the rising level of air pollution in Kathmandu on Saturday.

KATHMANDU, Jan 6: A rally was organized in the capital against the rising level of air pollution in Kathmandu on Saturday.  


A campaign against the air pollution named Swachchha Hawa was organized to create awareness of the air pollution and its consequences in public health.

The rally that started from Academy Hall ended at Narayan Chaur and presented a street drama to create public awareness against the air pollution and to draw the attention of the stakeholders to reduce the air pollution in the city.


Senior cardiologist Dr Bhagwan Koirala, environment activist Bhushan Tuladhar and other high profile figures attended the program. They expressed worry over the alarming pollution level in the capital.
