"These days Maoists combatants from temporary cantonments have been mobilized in Kaski-1," he said at a press meet organized in Pokhara, Saturday.
He claimed that the Maoist party deployed its combatants to terrorize voters with the intention to win the by-elections at any cost.
He also urged the UN Mission in Nepal (UNMIN) to remain vigilant to see if the Maoist party deploys its combatants in the election campaign. He alleged that the UN body has failed to properly monitor the combatants´ activities.
Oli, leader of second largest ruling party UML, said the Maoist-led coalition government utterly failed to deliver on the promises made to the people.
When asked if his party was going to pull out from the government, he said the party´s central committee will seriously discuss the matter.
Kaski-1 is among six election constituencies where by-elections are being held on April 10. Maoist leader Dev Gurung resigned from the constituency as he won the elections also from Manang district.
