Maoists are more flexible now: Sujata

JHAPA, Nov 4: Deputy Prime Minister and Nepali Congress leader Sujata Koirala said that meetings should be held in villages to make a consensus environment even though there is confusion for constitution drafting and democracy in the party´s centre.



Statute writing should be completed on time to strengthen republic, she said speaking at a function in Birtamod Thursday.[break]



The Unified CPN (Maoist) seems flexible now after rounds of talks held with Congress on constitution writing, peace process and integration of Maoist army combatants, said Sujata, who is also the Foreign Minister.



Saying that all should be serious to draft the new constitution on time, she said that journalists should also help in whatever ways they can.
