KATHMANDU, Dec 29: Just a day after the government and Federation of Nepalese Journalists (FNJ) signed a 10-point agreement on press freedom, the Maoist Union on Monday placed its union flags in the office building of APCA Nepal, which is a marketeer of The Himalayan Times and Annapurna Post dailies. A press statement, issued by APCA, said a row between the APCA management and All Nepal Communication, Printing and Publication Workers´ Union, a Maoist worker union, over the latter´s recent act of placing its board at APCA reception, is still pending at the Supreme Court. "The unauthorized union workers had earlier captured the office reception and put up Union signboard after manhandling and threatening APCA Nepal employees who had opposed their move," the statement said.
