KATHMANDU, Oct 5: Unified Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist) Seti-Mahakali State Committee on Tuesday suspended the party´s lawmaker from Baitadi-1 Narendra Kunwar and the state committee member Rana Bahadur Kunwar for disrupting the party´s meeting at Patan Bazar in Baitadi district and for physically assaulting the party´s Baitadi district co-in-charge Agni Prasad Sapkota and verbally abusing party´s lawmaker Renu Chand, Monday.
Issuing a press statement, the Maoist Seti-Mahakali state committee said the action was taken as their act violated the party´s discipline. A probe commission has also been formed to investigate into their alleged involvement in financial irregularities, the statement read.
