KATHMANDU, Aug 12: The Standing Committee meeting of the CPN (Maoist Center) has been postponed. The meeting, which has been ongoing since Friday at the party's central office in Paris Danda, was scheduled to continue from 11 AM on Monday. However, the Maoist Center said that the meeting has been postponed due to the busy schedules of the leaders.

The meeting has now been rescheduled for 2 PM noon. On the first day of the meeting, Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal presented a verbal proposal on the current political affairs, development of ideas, party development and other related issues.
Likewise, the leaders have debated his proposal. The leaders said that Janardan Sharma, Barsha Man Pun, Ram Karki and others have raised questions about the party's policies and leadership.
