KATHMANDU, Sept 29: A standing committee meeting of the CPN (Maoist Center), which was scheduled for 9AM today, had been postponed till 12AM. The meeting is currently underway at the party’s central office in Paris Danda.
According to a source, the main agenda of the meeting is to give full shape to the government. Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba hasn’t been able to expand his cabinet even though two and a half months have passed since he was appointed to the post of Prime Minister.
CPN (Maoist Center) Standing Committee meeting underway
Leader of CPN (Maoist Center) Janardan Sharma has already been appointed as the Finance Minister while Pampha Bushal as the Minister for Energy. The responsibility to decide ministers from the party has already been handed over to the party’s chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal.
