Taking part in an interaction programme on the "Violation of comprehensive peace agreement and interim constitution by the state" organised by six Maoist parties in the capital Saturday, leader Dahal underlined the need of unity among the Maoist forces by correcting mistakes of the past to lead the Maoist agitation to a success.
The Supreme Court verdict regarding the jurisdiction of Truth and Reconciliation Commission was against the peace agreement and the Interim Constitution of Nepal, he claimed. The Maoist movement would become meaningless if we fail to make corrections of past mistakes and move ahead listening to people's voices, he added.
It may be noted that SC sometime ago directed the TRC, the transitional mechanism body, to remove the provision of amnesty in serious cases of crime recorded during the decade-long armed conflict in the country.

CPN (Maoist) coordinator Matrika Yadav, Revolutionary Communist Party General Secretrary Mani Thapa, CPN (Unified) General Secretary Pari Thapa and CPN Maoist leader Tilak Pariyar stressed the need of making the agitation successful.
Legal experts Khimlal Devkota, Ekraj Bhandari and Umesh Gautam accused the state of violating past agreements and said there was no need for the TRC members to stay in office.RSS
