Speaking at a program in Khotang organized by Press Chautari Nepal on Thursday, Nepal said that though his party is in favor of fresh Constituent Assembly election, the Maoists are the main obstacle for it.[break]
"Why should we reinstate the CA, when we know it well it cannot resolve the differences?," Nepal questioned.
He also claimed that few leaders including Ashok Rai who have defected the UML to form a new party will return one day. "Rai had defected the party earlier, but he returned later on," Nepal added.
