KATHMANDU, Aug 4 : The CPN (Maoist Center) has agreed to unify with the Communist Party of Nepal led by Netra Bikram Chand ‘Biplav’.

Following a meeting of the party's Standing Committee on Tuesday, Vice Chairman and Spokesperson Agni Prasad Sapkota informed the media that the party has decided to initiate dialogue to pursue the unification process. “We have agreed to unify with the Biplav-led CPN,” Sapkota said, adding, “We will form a dialogue committee and begin formal talks soon.”
