Maoist cadres pelt stones at UML leaders

KATHMANDU, May 17: Cadres of Unified Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist) pelted stones at a vehicle carrying CPN (Unified Marxist-Leninist) General Secretary Ishwar Pokharel and politburo member Pashupati Chaulagain at Jyamire Bhir in Tilpung of Ramechhap district on Sunday evening. The vehicle was damaged in the attack, said Avenues TV.



The Maoist leaders in the district some days ago had issued a diktat to other political party leaders to leave the district or else face the consequences.
