Manpower company owner arrested for swindling over Rs 1.9 million

Kathmandu, Jan 2:  Police have arrested a manpower company owner on the charge of swindling more than Rs 1.9 million. 

He is Jayram Poudel, 41, of Panauti Municipality-1 in Kavrepalanchowk district, the owner of Mars Manpower Services Pvt Ltd., said Spokesperson at the Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office, Superintendent of Police, Rabindra Regmi.

Poudel had swindled Rs 1.96 million from two persons including Padam Kumari Shrestha time and again alluring them of providing jobs at a renowned company and more than Rs 300,000 salary per month in Europe.  

The arrested one has been sent to the Department of Foreign Employment, Tahachal for further investigation and action, added Regmi.
