KATHMANDU, July 11: A helicopter of Manang Air flying from Surke in Solukhumbu to Kathmandu has gone out of contact. The helicopter, which had the crew members and five foreigners, has gone out of contact.
According to the spokesperson for the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), Teknath Sitaula, the Manang Air helicopter with the call sign -NA-MV, boarding six passengers from Surke in Solukhumbu to Kathmandu, has gone out of contact at 10:1 AM.

“It has been reported that the helicopter of Manang Air is out of contact, there is no contact with the tower, when it reached the Lamjura pass, it was reported that the helicopter only received a 'hello' message on Viber, the search is underway,” he said.
