KATHMANDU, April 2: Manakamana cable car in Gorkha will be closed on Wednesday as the tower needs to be repaired.
Director Rajesh Babu Shrestha said that the company plans to resume service from Thursday after the one-day maintenance is completed.

The cable car tower is scheduled to be closed for one day due to regular maintenance. “We apologize for the inconvenience caused to devotees and passengers. The service will resume from Thursday,” said Director Shrestha.
The company had recently upgraded the cable car from analog to digital system.
The cable car's tower, gondola, bull wheel and other equipment are still the same, and this cable car is the first cable car with a digital connect system in Nepal.
