Manakamana Cable Car to be closed for two days

GORKHA, Oct 3: The Manakamana Cable Car, which leads to Manakamana Temple, a famous Gorkha religious site, will be closed for two days.

Ujwal Sherchan, station manager of Manakamana Cable Car Pvt Ltd, said that the cable car will be closed on the day of Nawami and Bijaya Dashami. On the day after Dashami, the cable car will operate continuously from October 6.

Similarly, the temple is overcrowded today on the occasion of Ashtami and many devotees go to the Mankamana temple to offer sacrifices.

As most of the local people of Manakamana area come and go by the cable car, the cable car is also operated for their regular commuting.
