Birendra Pasi, 32, of Gangapur, Padsari-7 murdered his wife Sushila with a sickle. After having dinner, they were in the bed when their dispute took a nasty turn.
It is said Sushil could have died on the spot due to excessive bleeding as she had sustained a deep cut in the head. The couple had a nine-year-old daughter and a seven-year-old son. Kedar Raj Panta, the investigating officer at the district police office, said the killer husband has been taken into custody and that further probe into the incident is ongoing.
