One killed, another injured in Manthali microbus plunge

MANTHALI, March 4: A man died while another sustained serious injuries when a microbus met with an accident in Manthali Muncipality-1 of the district on Monday evening. 

The deceased has been identified as Ram Prasad Tulachan of Mustang district, District Police Office, Ramechhap told Republica Online.

The jeep skidded off the rough road and fell some 100 meters into the bank of the Trishuli River.

The ill-fated microbus, Ba 1 Ja 9901, was heading to Malkhola from district headquarters Manthali when the accident took place.

The injured is 20-year-old Anjana Khadka of  Manthali Municipality-2. She has been referred to Kathmandu after preliminary treatment at  a local health clinic.
