Man injured in Jumla protest dies

KATHMANDU, Aug 23: Hari Bahadur Kunwar, a protestor, who had sustained severe injuries during the recent agitation demanding for separate Karnali province last week, died while undergoing treatment at the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital (TUTH) in Kathmandu. He was being treated at the hospital for the last six days.

Kunwar was among 13 others injured during scuffle with police on Aug 16.Kunwar, who was just 19, was a student of Management at Nisha Higher Secondary School in Jumla. Local agitators have demanded Kunwar be declared a martyr.
